Kai Scissors got its origins back in the mid-1990's importing Kai brand scissors, cutters, and knives from Kai Group, in Japan. Kai Group was founded in 1908, in Seki City, Japan. Seki City has an 800-year history of forging blades and is sometimes called the Blade Capitol of the World. That rich blade making history has flowed thru Kai products, and has expanded to over 10,000 different kitchen, beauty, cooking, and sewing products.
We, here at Kai Scissors, our mission is to bring Kai's products to the United States and share the wonderful high-quality products with the American market. Our main focus is on scissors and shears but has grown to include beauty and kitchen products.
More recently, we have expanded our lines to include Kai 's very own American made pocketknives. This includes KERSHAW and the Zero Tolerance brands, made in Tualitn Oregon, USA.
